Story Time! We get asked this A LOT, but we’ll probably never get tired of sharing 🙂
It was my Freshman Year in High School, and I was super nervous about my first ever High School Dance. My best friend at the time, could not contain her excitement about being paired up with a blind date, from another High School.
We got ready for the night at our friends house, where I crimped my hair, threw on my black sequin dress from Limited Too and a stack of rubber bracelets from Hot Topic to match. I guess I was going for an emo Lizzie Mcguire vibe.
Our group met at our favorite place, our local mall, for an ultra classy dinner at the Food Court, although I don’t remember eating much because of my nerves 😅 Our guy friends arrived, and we were quickly introduced to Greg, “the guy from the other school.” He was surprisingly shy, like myself, but he fit right in with our group of friends.

Greg became no stranger since then, and had attended the rest of our school dances for the year. The following school year, he took us all by surprise and transferred to our High School.
That’s when I noticed he was starting to come out of his shell, and discovered we both had a love for dance and performing. We found ourselves taking the same dance classes and joining our school’s competition team together.
During the fall of my Junior Year, Greg asked me to the Homecoming Dance, by giving me a lock of his own hair in a jewelry box. A little weird now that I think about it, but I wouldn’t expect anything less wacky and creative coming from him.
From then, we became best friends and I looked forward to coming home from school every day to a new message in my Myspace inbox, where we’d discuss everything, from our favorite cartoons, to how we’d hope to inspire others someday.

Through college, we co-owned a local dance studio, taught youth Hip-Hop classes together, and traveled with our crew, Stepboys, to compete in the Bay Area, Southern California, and Las Vegas. Greg and I soon became the “creative couple” among our loved ones.
We would spend our weekends making costumes and backdrops for our dance competitions, dabbling into various DIY projects like building cardboard robots and silk screening funny designs on t-shirts for our friends and family to wear.

Never had I’d known that 10 years later, we’d be living in a new state, in a house of our own, with two dogs, planning the whimsical wedding of our dreams. A lot has changed over the years, but one thing that stayed constant is the joy in creating things together.
The past six years have been dedicated to producing content alongside our friends on YouTube, and we are looking forward to the next endeavor we can call our own.

We’re so glad to have you as a part of our journey!
