Whether you’re off to save the galaxy, or to brunch, this everyday runway-inspired Star Wars R2D2 Costume and Disneybound is a fun homage to the lovable robot!
THE DROID YOU’RE LOOKING FOR
R2D2 has been winning the hearts of pop culture fans since its appearance in “Star Wars: A New Hope” in 1977 with its quirky personality and admirable loyalty to the galaxy’s greatest heroes. I wanted to go for a street-style tribute with this R2D2 Costume and Disneybound.
I paired my R2D2 print T-shirt with white legging pants and denim jacket. Is it just me, or does wearing the jacket over my shoulders kind of mimic Artoo’s silhouette?
I also wore my grey hat to represent Artoo’s silver head, as well as blue ankle boots for an added pop of color.
I’m quite satisfied with how this R2D2 Costume and Disneybound came out! Instead of a full-on robot cosplay (which would also be amazing), this is more of an inspired representation – but make it fashion!
